Human behavioral Attitudes


An attitude is a firm belief about a subject, object or concept which predisposes one to respond in some preferential manner. What is a belief then? A belief is cognitive information; an individual has about an object. Belief is two kinds, the one is the firm or strong belief and the other is the light belief. A person of strong belief can sacrifice his or her life for such belief. An attitude therefore, is a firm belief or a concept or an evaluative manner towards a person, a group of people, an object or a group of objects or subjects.

The attitude always predisposes any one to respond in some preferential manner. The attitude has components of knowledge element, feeling element and action element. The attitude are acquired characteristics of an individual. It is not learn from text book. They are acquired by social interactions and associations.

In actual fact, the human behavior in every society, all over the world, is more or less the same.

Human Risk taking Behaviors


The risk taking behaviors is very often age and sex related; the young adult persons in general are more often ‘adventurous, more willing and prepared to take more risk than older persons, a phenomenon often exploited by political leaders and revolutionist. Such kind of risk taking behavior responds well to therapeutic interventions. This kind of behavior can be recorded while crossing a road in traffic jam, driving a vehicle with some tobacco and alcohol addicts, and badly maintained vehicles, gambling, motor bike jump and moving from the roof top of a building to another building with the help of a rope.
